More than halfway decent job of whitening; especially considering price...
My heavy coffee drinking has caught up with me in my late 40's as far as my teeth's whiteness (or lack therof) goes.
I had always wondered if Rembrandt was all it was cracked up to be as far as whitening was concerned. I tried this Whitening touch-up pen, and have had noticable results. I also switched over to Rembrant toothpaste. I've had pretty good results with it as well. I apply the pen to my teeth every night before bed and during the day when/if I can keep it on for 30 minutes without drinking or eating per instructions. It goes on easy and tastes okay as whiteners go. For the price I am pretty satisfied; I just have to be consistent about using it to maintain the results. As a sidebar: thinking I could get better results I tried the GoSmile (I have a seperate review on that) Starter System and the Hollywood Celebrity Sexy White Teeth (what a name!)whitener.
Both these products did at best little better than the Rembrandt (1 shade perhaps) and are NOT worth the money. Don't make my mistake and think that spending 0.00 for Go Smile or .00 per vile of the Celeb. Sexy Teeth translates into much better results. Also note that Rembrandt on their touch up pen notes "it will not whiten veneers, etc." I have veneers on by front teeth and they did whiten; it just took a bit longer than the rest of my teeth.
So unless you have the money to shell out for dentist's laser or other whitening treatments, I have found this product as good as any for the money. Don't expect a Ryan Seacrest or Jessica Alba caliber smile, but you should still see noticable improvement with this product.

Cinnamon Flavored Toothpaste!
Crest has many types of toothpaste on the market. This particular toothpaste is unique in that it is one of the few that has a cinnamon flavor. The flavor and fresh taste (as well as fluoride content) are the main factors that caused me to buy this toothpaste.

This is a good family toothpaste as there is fluoride in it, it is not too abrasive, and because it tastes good, people use it.

One warning: Some people are either intolerant or allergic to cinnamon. Of course these people should not use this toothpaste. Intolerance is expressed through the formation of canker sores, inflammed oral tissues, sore throat, etc. If you find these symptoms occurring, switch to a milder toothpaste.

One final comment: Although this is called a "Whitening" toothpaste, ANY toothpaste that removes plaque can also be called a whitening toothpaste. There is no such thing as a "bleaching" toothpaste, no matter what the manufacturers claim, but many consumers read "whitening" and expect much brighter teeth! This is not the case here. This toothpaste will remove surface stains - like plaque, so it is considered a "whitening" toothpaste. Just don't be fooled into thinking your teeth are going to be 6 shades whiter!

I love this toothpaste. It has a great taste. And the packaging makes it easy to use and travel with it. This is a big plus for me since I travel a great deal. It packs well and doesn't get crushed.

The citrus flavoring is overpowering and is causing gag reflexes for everyone in our house including our adolescents to young children.

So far we can determine what is really causing us to choke is when we use it on an electric brush like a Sonicare SONICARE BASIC UNIT INCL.1 BRUSH HEAD MAP-59.99 or OralB Oral B S-200 Sonic Complete Rechargeable Electric Power Toothbrush since the power action invariably splashes and sprays bits of toothpaste off our teeth and gums --when we brush our back teeth and molars these splashes and sprays are stimulating a gag reflex from the back of our throats.

If we use it in a traditional fashion without a power toothbrush then most of us are able to handle the flavor.

The younger ones in our house are less able to control themselves and have had some pretty horrible morning regurgitations and wasted breakfast.

Better than mint but still too strong
I am notorious for using children's toothpaste because adult toothpaste has such a strong taste that it often makes me sick and causes me to gag or throw up. It's definitely not pleasant and, needless to say, doesn't help for keeping your teeth clean.

Faced with a very small variety of toothpaste products not too long ago, I chose citrus because I figured it couldn't be as bad as any of the other mint toothpastes and I was right: it's not as bad but it's still awfully strong and i can just barely tolerate it.

I don't know why toothpaste must be so strong. It burns to taste and smell and leaves your mouth feeling awful but I guess this is the price we must pay for clean mouths and teeth.

If you're like me, this toothpaste probably isn't worth enduring. At least it contains mouthwash so I don't have to deal with 2 foul tasting products.

This doesn't work as well as the regular Crest Vivid White toothpaste does. In fact, I don't see any difference with it. Best to go with the original stuff instead.

Great Toothbrush
I had an original Cybersonic toothbrush that lasted me for years and actually did not need replacing. However, I liked the idea of a little smaller "footprint" on the bathroom counter and this new one is perfect for that reason. It also has a little dim light on it which serves as a nightlight. This model seems to have more power to it and is easy to use. My teeth feel very clean after use and I actually look forward to brushing! In addition, the brush heads are terrific. I knew what the small one would feel like but the larger one is fantastic. I'm a grown adult with a small mouth on the inside and wasn't sure if the larger brush head would work for me. Well, have no fear in that regard. It's terrific. I really like the round brush heads. This is a great teeth cleaning system and I do highly recommend it. The other attachments, which can be affixed to the main base if one so desires, are also excellent tools for overall oral care. So, all "pros" and no "cons" with this one. Hope this review helps! Oh, and on a hunch, I did get the extra brush heads even before I knew the larger one would work for me and glad I did it.

This should be a very expensive toothbrush. I can't believe SurpriseEyes.com sells it for the price that they do. Compared to the Sonicare and the Oral B this product is great!
