Tooth Bleaching Primer
I am a dentist who recommends Crest White Strips Supreme to my patients because they do work to whiten teeth. However, they have to be used correctly and I recommend that you follow the directions exactly as specified inside the box.

1. First brush your teeth with a wet toothbrush (no toothpaste) to remove the layer of plaque. Your teeth have pores and the pores need to be open for the chemical to penetrate.

2. Use the strips twice per day for maximum efectiveness. The inner part of the strip has a chemical called carbamide peroxide (a 14% form of hydrogen peroxide that causes the stains inside your teeth to be oxidized and turn white. Applying the strips has a small learning curve as you will probably bend or fold a couple of them before you get the technique down. (If your teeth get too sensitive using this concentration, you can use the plain Crest Whitestrips, as it has a less concentrated bleaching agent. It will likely take longer to achieve whitening, but it may be more comfortable.

2. Leave the strips on for 30 minutes at a time. After thirty minutes your saliva has probably diluted the peroxide to the extent that it is no longer effective. You can reapply a new strip immediately if you chose, for the treatment requires one hour of treatment time per day to work. It does not matter if you do this in one continuous 60-minute period or two 30-minute periods. Do this for two weeks and your teeth will get whiter.

Disadvantages

1. The chemical can and may occasionally "burn" your gums. If you notice a burning sensation when you use the product, it is the chemical oxidizing (or burning) your gums. Depending on how severe the burning is, it may cause you to want to stop the treatment. It is OK to stop the treatment for a day or two to let the gums heal. Once they are normal again, resume treatment with the White Strips.

2. Your teeth may become senstiive during the two-week treatment time. Try to push yourself through the sensitivity if it is mild, but if more severe, take a day or two off to let the teeth settle down and then pick up where you left off.

3. The strips only cover your front teeth, so only your front teeth will bleach. You may notice the distinct difference between the back (unbleached) teeth and the front (bleached) teeth. Since most people notice the front 6 teeth anyway, this is not a big deal. However, if you have a wide toothy smile, you may want to have a dentist make you a tray that will hold the chemical on the back teeth to whiten them too.

3. The bleaching effect works best on yellow stains. If your stains are due to tetracycline (brownish grey stains in a band on your teeth, your best bet is to have a dentist whiten your teeth as the dentist will use a tray to hold a more concentrated form of the chemical on your teeth for a longer period of time.

Crest White Strips work for the vast majority of people. They don't work as well or as fast as a dentist-made bleaching, but over time, you will get a result that will be close to that of a dentist, and you will save money too. In any event, it is a good place to start with bleaching, and if you are not satisfied with the results, you can then see your dentist for a more concentrated form of bleaching.

Worthless
Spent forty-five bucks and I had to wear them thirty minutes twice a day for three weeks, burned my gums, and had extremely sensitive teeth for... no changes what-so-ever. Not even the slightest lightening, and I followed the rules to the letter. There's better ways to throw away fifty dollars.

FINALLY WHITE TEETH!!!!!!
I decided to buy this product after a popup showed up on my screen one day for "Celebrity Sexy Teeth" which completely bashed Crest WhiteStrips Supreme. As I began researching it, I realized that there is no research to suggest that this other supposed whitener is any good and that individuals are even unsure of the ingredients coupled with the poor reviews it received.

Anywho, onto this GEM! I bought two boxes thinking that my teeth were so yellow that I would need two boxes to get the desired results. How wrong was I! After using the strips for less than a week, I already saw results.

I experienced minimal sensitivity, but I believe my teeth were more sensitive if I brushed them before using the strips which Crest does warn against. As such, I never had to skip a few days and my teeth are getting naturally whiter and I continue to receive compliments.

The box is not completely done yet; but my teeth are already several shades whiter!

I could not more highly recommend this product as I feel the results are equivalent to what one would get by paying hundreds of dollars for an hour in the dentist's chair; the results are just spread over a longer period. I feel that whitening over time, progressively, will cause people to wonder "Wow, there's something different about you but I can't put my finger on it!" Which I would much more prefer than "Oh wow, now your teeth are white!"

Very satisfied with product. BUT
The first time I bought this product at my Dentist's office for .00 and I should have gone back to my Dentist and bought them there again. Within three days I saw results when I used the product from my Dentist. My teeth were much lighter, but also very sensitive. I took a break for a few days and then only used the strips once a day and then cut down to every other day and then cut down to once a week.
To save some money I ordered online from here. The product I received does not seem to work the same like the one from my Dentist and I am assuming right now that I accidently received the 6.5% instead of the 14%.
I emailed the company for the first time over one week ago and have not received a reply as of yet. I am disappointed!!! I guess I have to take another and buy the Whitening Strips from my Dentist again and just take the plus shipping cost I paid here as a loss. :-(

The Best of the Rest
I have tried many other crest whitening strips, but these are the only ones by far that really work. I am very happy with the results and will purchase again. I had little to no tooth sensitivity.

Simply, just a fantastic way to whiten teeth at a great price!

Just started
SO I just started these today but I took them on an empty stomach. Actually I took them and then started my lunch because it says "take with food." Well, mid way through lunch I had to run to the bathroom because I thought I was going to hurl! YIKES. Just do yourselves a favor ladies. Don't take on an empty stomach!! I will continue to use these and I hope it works out. I do have a weak stomach so .. we'll see.

Weird smell & taste...
I wanted to get a multi-vitamin as I knew I was lacking some essential vitamins in my daily diet.

It might be good for your body but it sure tastes & smells unusual. I have to force myself to take it everyday though; and try to blank out the unpleasantness.

If I didn't take a multi-vitamin, I'd be dead
Okay, I admit it, I'm a junk food addict. Fresh fruits and vegetables are not a part of my diet at all (on more than one occasion I've had Doritos for dinner). I didn't start taking the One-A-Day Women's multivitamin until about 18 months ago. One of my sisters and I were talking about how thin & brittle our nails were, and how thick our other sister's nails were, and we made the connection that our other sister took a multivitamin, while we did not. So I started taking One-A-Day, and within the month, I could see a thicker ridge of nail growing out. It was so weird, and yet so disconcerting to think my thin nails were caused by a vitamin deficiency. Even now, when I go for a bit without the vitamin, thinner nail will grow out until I remember to start taking the One-A-Day again. If my vitamin deficiency caused thin nails, what was it doing to the rest of my body?

One-A-Day Women's is a well-rounded vitamin. My only problem is that I have to take multivitamins on a full stomach, otherwise they'll cause an upset stomach, so much that I will toss my cookies. This happens with any multivitamin for me, not just One-A-Day, but it's something to keep in mind when taking a multivitamin for the first time, you probably don't want to take it with an empty stomach.

*Update* I'm still taking the Women's One-A-Day, and a few months ago I suggested to my husband that he should start taking the Men's One-A-Day. He too has the same "thicker nail growing out" bonus from taking the Men's One-A-Day!

I heard about this vitamin from my mom who has been taking it. I have been experiencing lots of exhaustion and worsening pms in the recent few years (I am in my mid twenties). My mom told me she has a lot of energy since she has take this vitamin and urges me to try it. I have been taking the vitamins for about a month now and really feel the difference (I don't know if it's the vitamin or just a psychological effect). My pms symptoms also got noticeably better this month without the usual exhaustion, frustration and bloated feeling 1-2 weeks before hand. This is my personal experience, and I am hoping it will last!

Great product for after shower
This is a really good lotion, particularly body lotion. As for hands, well, you might try something else like Gold bond lotion. However, for right after a shower, this product works very well on sensitive, dry skin and helps hold in moisture throughout the day during the winter. I've been using this for years and highly recommend it!

has no fragrence and it is very southing.

A Good "Entry-Level" Toothpaste, But There Are Better
It must be stated that Crest makes a very good toothpaste. It has the ADA seal of approval, has fluoride to help strenthen enamel, and has low abrasiveness. It is made in a pleasing variety of flavors and has additives that reduce tartar formation. That said, it lacks Xylitol.

Xylitol is a natural sweetener that the human body (and bacteria) cannot metabolize. Thus, there is no extra sugar for diabetics, and there is no sugar for the bacteria in the mouth. What is even better, is that bacteria ingest Xylitol and since they cannot metabolize it, they die off, thus lowering the amount of pathogenic bacteria in the mouth. There are several toothpastes that have Xylitol in them, but the leader in the field is Spry toothpaste with fluoride. Xlear Spry Spearmint Toothpaste with Xylitol (With Fluoride), 4 Ounces As a dental professional, I have been recommending Spry with fluoride as the toothpaste of choice. Spry has a singluar drawback in that it does not have a tartar preventative added to it. So, if you have a tartar build-up problem, alternate brushing with Crest and Spry and you have the best of both worlds!. (As a dentist, I recommend that people brush 3-4 times a day. If you brush 4 times a day, brush with Spry twice and Crest twice. If you only brush twice a day and you really want and need the tartar preventative, Spry makes a chewing gum that has Xylitol in it that you can chew mid-morning and mid-afternoon (between brushings), and you still get the benefit of Xylitol.Spry Spearmint Xylitol Chewing Gum 100 Count

How can Crest possibly mess up toothpaste???
I purchased a six-pack through the subscribe & save program--I have used both Colgate and Crest in the past (including Tartar control and whitening formulas) and was never displeased before.

When I tried this Crest toothpaste however, I found even the little that I ended up tasting to be sickeningly sweet. When I checked the ingredients list I was surprised to find sodium saccharin on the list--the chemical that is also marketed as "Sweet & Lo."

I checked other toothpastes that I do like and found that they also contained sodium saccharin. The reasonably explanation for my dislike of the Crest is that they used too much sodium saccharin in this formula.

Those who use sweet & lo or similar sweeteners may find this toothpaste fine. Those who are very sensitive to saccharin should steer clear. I am sensitive to it, and now I have no idea what I will do with six tubes of toothpaste. I'll probably end up giving them all away.

Other than my issue with the taste, the toothpaste seems to work well, leaving your mouth feeling very well-cleaned and fresh. I won't be able to use the toothpaste long enough to determine whether the whitening works or not.

Excellent product
I honestly think toothpaste is like soda, you're either a Coke or Pepsi fan, or Colgate or Crest fan and never a waiver happens between the two. This Crest is nothing short of awesome. It does a marvelous job on the tartar control and freshens your breath at least until lunchtime! Great stuff, been using it for years, and have better dental checkups as a result of the less tartar. Quite frankly, I'd use anything to keep from having that dental scraper on my teeth any longer than necessary! Highly recommend!

Hey, I can't literally promise you that you won't get any cavities or extra tartar if you use Crest Tartar Control Whitening Formula Toothpaste--but I will say that it's an important part of the total plan for keeping your teeth clean and healthy. Crest toothpaste freshens your breath; and Crest also does a good job of warding off cavities and tartar. This version of Crest contains "tartar blockers" to reduce tartar buildup on your teeth. Crest also has the overall effect of adding some whiteness to your teeth. Crest can also be used by children over age 2 if you supervise them as they brush their teeth.

The toothpaste comes out easily after you simply unscrew the top cap and gently squeeze the tube. It sticks well to the toothbrush so it doesn't slip off before you can get it in your mouth! It contains floristat which has sodium fluoride; this fights cavities and tartar if you brush your teeth two or three times a day. In addition, Crest is indeed sugar free. Crest sweetens the minty flavored toothpaste with sugar substitutes; and Crest is accepted by the American Dental Association as an integral part of an overall plan to keep your teeth healthy. Crest, of course, is NOT a substitute for regular and routine dental checkups; and the toothpaste manufacturer cannot literally guarantee that if you use Crest you will have cavity-free, pearly white teeth without any tartar. Instead, Crest reduces the chances of your getting cavities as it reduces the amount of visible tartar and darkening stains on your teeth.

Overall, Crest gives us one of the better toothpastes around and it is an important part of the total plan to take good care of your teeth. Brush with Crest after meals to immediately reduce your chances of getting a cavities or excess tartar. I am very impressed with this ADA approved toothpaste and I recommend it highly.

My decision to purchse this item was based on my previous experience and knowledge of the quailty Crest carries with their product and that it is suitable and acceptable to a large audience. I need to have dependable products that I can count on when I need it. Toothpaste is no exception.

Is this just sticky water?
I tried using this a few times and it was literally like spraying water and melted sugar in my hair - it was a little sticky and did absolutely nothing. I don't know, maybe it was just the can I got - either I was swindled or this product sucks.
